Ај малку помош, како да го толкувам ова- Сингапур го има првиот случај на 26 Јануари. Сега има помалку од 200. Еден он најгусто населените места во светов , со популација колку 3 Македонии. Што прават различно?

Не се возбудувам, но мислам дека реченицата "Доколку си во контакт со заразен веројатноста е ~10% дека ќе се заразиш." јасно кажува на што мислам. Луѓето се заразуваат едни од други, но веројатноста за зараза е ~10% никаде не кажав дека се заразуваат од нешто трето. Жалам што не знаеш да резонираш.

Инаку ~10% е голем број. Кога ќе земеме во предвид дека околу нас можеме да имаме повеќе заразени луѓе веројатноста би се зголемила.

 

Ма нека се пуштат луѓето дома, нека останат тие што се навистина потребни, не докторите се заштитуваат откажаа термини, образовните кадри кои патем ништо не испочитуваа се заштитија, државнове институции, администрација престануваат да работат со странки, а останатите ги оставија да рмбаат под стрес. Зарем само тие државно што се вработени се критична категорија? Ок може избрзувам може до после ќе се регулира се', но сите имаме семејства што работат и во приватен сектор. Што ако жените се дома додека мажите се изложени на ризик. Не знам... исто и те како полициски час треба и не ми споредувајте до други земји зошто тие се пример како не треба, а не како треба.

 

Една замерка е што премногу ги следиме акциите превземени од Европските земји коишто well не вродија со плод. Можеби треба да се угледаме на Кореја.

Па така де не значи ако некој се фрли во оган сите треба. Очигледно тој пристап не е у ред, очигледно дека народот се овци и треба ептен ригорозни мерки. Па ради овците не може сите да страдаат. А што би правела ти? Како Меркел? Не сме Германија, знаеме какво ни е здравствово и капацитетите. Меркиве се за да се ублажи ширењето за да можеме некако да се справиме и да не бидеме Италија х 10. Јас би затворила кафулиња, ресторани, дискотеки, молови... и сите кои треба да се во карантин и изолација би ги чувала со полиција. Оти не може поинаку со неразбраниве.
И да, мора некако да се регулира достава на храна и основни продукти на сите кои се во изолација. Мислам дека ова не е регулирано.

Се спроведува на лична одговорност на лицето, а се контролира никако.

Другарка вчера слета од Брисел, рече никој ни ја прашал од каде, ни како иде, ни зошто иде. Можда слетува од Брисел (каде што тек вчера осамна првиот случај), а допатувала од Италија или од Германија.

As the novel coronavirus starts to gather speed in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S., there’s one place it is seemingly being contained: Singapore.

With no reported virus-related deaths despite 96 cases, and a slowing rate of infection that’s been outpaced by recoveries, the Asian city-state is emerging as a litmus test of whether the deadly pathogen can be, if not contained, then neutralized.

The answer is maybe, and perhaps only with the unique combination of factors that Singapore brings: a top-notch health system, draconian tracing and containment measures, and a small population that’s largely accepting of government’s expansive orders. Few other countries battling an outbreak that’s now infected more than 83,000 globally and killed over 2,800, can replicate these circumstances.

“There seems to be more of a willingness to place the community and society needs over individual liberty and that helps in a public health crisis,” said Kent Sepkowitz, an infectious disease control specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.


Singapore was aggressive out of the gate and has continued to be. It was one of the first countries to impose restrictions on anyone with recent travel history to China and parts of South Korea. It has a strict hospital and home quarantine regimen for potentially infected patients and is extensively tracing anyone they may have been in contact with.

It’s charging a couple who gave false information on their travel history and taking away residency status from a person who breached his quarantine, among other punitive actions.

Singapore “will not hesitate to take strong action” against rule breakers, Law Minister K. Shanmugam said in a statement Thursday. “The deliberate breaking of the rules, in the current situation, calls for swift and decisive response.”

The country started a text and mobile web-based software solution on Feb. 10 through which people placed under home quarantine could report their location to the government, according to a statement Thursday from the Prime Minister’s Office.

“This served as the first level of verification of compliance for close to 12,000 foreign employees,” the office said in statement.

It’s now using a new serological test developed by Duke-NUS Medical School that can establish links between infected cases, which will allow authorities to map out the chain of transmission and therefore try to break it. Local researchers had earlier successfully cultured the novel virus within a week of Singapore confirming its first case.

A historically “very strong epidemiological surveillance and contact-tracing capacity” in Singapore led to a high detection rate initially, according to a yet to be peer-reviewed study published by researchers at the Harvard University.

The country’s experience with the 2003 SARS outbreak in which 33 people died in Singapore, and the 2010 swine flu known as H1N1 where an estimated more than 400,000 people were infected, meant that precautions were already in place. These included ready-made government quarantine facilities and a 330-bed, state-of-the-art national center for managing infectious diseases that opened last year.

To be sure, few other countries can recreate Singapore’s circumstances. It’s a small, rich nation without a hinterland or health-care shortages. It’s been ruled by one political party for its nearly 55 years of independence, and local media outlets carry the government’s messaging without questioning, from washing hands to staying at home if someone is not feeling well.

In a recorded address earlier this month, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong reassured Singaporeans that the city had enough supplies and that the virus didn’t appear as deadly as SARS, meaning that most people would likely experience a minor illness even if they contracted it. The population has been noticeably calmer since.

1. Passengers who have been in China (People's Rep.) in the last 14 days are not allowed to transit or enter Singapore.

- This does not apply to residents of Singapore (Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents or travelers holding a long-term pass (Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long-term Visit Pass only) with final destination Singapore. If they have been in Hubei Province (China People's Rep.) in the last 14 days, they will be quarantined upon entry in Singapore. For the others, they will be issued Stay-Home-Notices (SHNs) upon entry in Singapore.

2. For work pass holders with travel history to mainland China in the last 14 days, they are allowed to enter Singapore subjected to the Ministry of Manpower’s (MOM) prior approval. They are required to show the MOM approval letter to airline staff upon check-in and before boarding.

3. Nationals of China (People's Rep.) with a passport issued in Hubei Province (China People's Rep.) are not allowed to transit or enter Singapore.

- This does not apply to residents of Singapore (Permanent Residents only) or travelers holding a long-term pass (Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long-term Visit Pass only) with final destination Singapore. They will be quarantined upon entry in Singapore.

4. Passengers with an Approved Letter for Entry from the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority will not be subject to the above restrictions. However, they may still be subjected to the prevailing health screening requirement upon arriving at Singapore airport. Possession of an Approved Letter for Entry does not guarantee the issuance of a Visit Pass to enter Singapore.

5. For nationals of China (People’s Rep) and Iran with a short or multiple term visa issued by Singapore, the visa has been suspended and is not valid for travel.

6. Passengers and crew members who were on the cruise ship "Diamond Princess" are not allowed to transit or enter Singapore from 19 February 2020 to 29 March 2020.

- This does not apply to nationals of Singapore, permanent residents of Singapore or long-term pass holders. They will be quarantined for 14 days upon arrival in Singapore.

7. Passengers who have been in Iran, Italy (Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia or Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol regions) or Korea (Rep.) in the last 14 days are not allowed to transit or enter Singapore.

- This does not apply to residents of Singapore (Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents or travelers holding a long-term pass (Work Pass, Student Pass, Dependent Pass, Long-term Visit Pass only). They will be issued a SHNs upon entry in Singapore.

- For work pass holders with travel history to Iran, northern Italy, or the Republic of Korea in the last 14 days, they are allowed to enter Singapore subjected to the MOM’s prior approval. They are required to show the MOM approval letter to airline staff upon check-in and before boarding. Upon entry, they will be issued SHNs.
